With the Presidential Election around the corner, I thought we should discuss the candidates. Please go to this site and read the articles about Barack Obama and John McCain titled Meet the Candidates. The site has some great activities you should check out before you respond to this post.
My question is:
If you had the chance to meet both candidates, what is one question that you would like to ask each of them?
After you respond, please “vote” for the candidate that you want to be the next President of the United States.

I would ask OBAMA what he would do to make a difference in the world. Then i would ask McCain why he chose Palin to help him during the election. It's kind of odd that he chose her. Dont you think?

I want Obama to win he'll help out the country in many ways like cut taxes prices,and send the soldiers home from the war in iraq. McCain eays he'll cut oil prices for are country. I think that McCain will just keep are country the same as Bush has. he just picked Palin to get more womens votes.

i would ask why are you so sure your plan will work what if u fail to obama and mccain but really i think mccain is too old to be president but obama is young and he is smart because he went to harvard.plus joe biden is a very good supporter for obama.last if mccain wants to send troops then he will start a world war III or something lol but obama will lower gas prices and give a middle tax cut so that will help the economy
I want Barack Obama because McCain said: "I dont care if it takes 10 years we will not stop the war in Iraq untill we win!" Personally, I think there is no point for the war in Iraq,so you cant win if your fighting for no reason. Also I think that Barack Obama will help the united states better then McCain would if he was elected.

i would ask to both of them why they want to be president. One thing i hate about voting is you don't know if they are just being nice just to be president and then make the usa bad.

I don't know who I want for President because I don't know enough about the two runner ups! But I heard that if you go on Youtube you will hear scary stuff about Obama! Not tryin to say the you shouldn't like him its just you really have to look up more about them to decide! But if I met the two runner ups I would ask them what they would do for our country! What is there ideas! Will they change anything that needs to be changed? How do they like childern! Because we also have to think about if they would be good to us kids! Also Obama keeps saying I gonna make changes! What changes! Is it something good or something bad! Think about it! If I ever met Obama, my question would be " How would help our country in its low economical state, for example, helping low and middle class people with financial help and getting them jobs and homes so they can feel just a rich as a rich man is?" If i have ever woke up one mornig and i had to pick three amendments the three i would pick is.....the first amendment, freedom of religon,speech,and assamply. The second one i would pick is a womens right to vote. Ithink it is amendment 13or15.and the last one would be to keeped aarmed wepon.i forgot which adment.
